Janet

I am one of Drs. Kohl and Danaher’s assistants, so I can be found in the clinic area of our office working alongside them during patient appointments.It's amazing to see how a beautiful smile can transform someone inside and out! I love to see how our patients' faces light up when they see their new smiles for the first time. Outside the office I enjoy hiking, reading, and traveling but I can’t ride a bike to save my life!

Kathy

As an assistant, I work in the clinic assisting our doctors with patient procedures and help out at the front desk when needed as well. Our staff is hard working, attentive, and easy going. We have fun here, and we make sure that you do too!I have one daughter, Shaila, and three sons, John, Billy, and Joey. I’m also soon to be a grandma! When I have free time I enjoy baking, traveling, and working out.

Kim

I enjoy working as an assistant at Plaza Orthodontics because of our great patients and really fun team. Working close to home is fun as I continue to see local families I have known over the years. I have three children and a dog named Callie. I enjoy spending time with my kids and my family, working out, and listening to music.

Natalya

I assist our doctors during patient appointments by taking X-rays, photos, and generally just making people laugh! I love the hands-on aspect of the orthodontic field and enjoy seeing people become more confident with their smiles as their treatment progresses. At home I have two sons, ages five and four. I love spending time with my boys, going to the park, swimming, and family time. I’m originally from Ukraine and moved here in 1992.

Nina

I assist Drs. Kohl and Danaher during patient procedures as well as helping out with office marketing. Our patients are the people who make each day at this practice so wonderful. Getting to know our patients, and be a part of their orthodontic experience is what I love to so much about my job. I have been married to my husband, Larry, for 42 years. When I’m not spending time with my seven grandchildren I enjoy scrap-booking, gardening, and playing Mah Jongg.

Andrea

I work as an assistant for Dr. Patel, Dr. Kohl, and Dr. Danaher. I am new to the team and started here in November of 2011. I graduated from Kendall College with my degree in Early Childhood and Special Education.  It was not until I met a friend that worked in this field to realize my passion for great smiles, and I still get to enjoy working with children of all ages, adults too! I like to spend my free time reading, hanging out with my family and friends, and taking my adorable bulldog, Barnie to the park!

Office Staff

Monika

I am responsible for our office’s bookkeeping and human resources. This practice is a family oriented practice, and when you’re here receiving treatment, you really are a part of our family! We have a fun, upbeat atmosphere, and a dedicated, talented team who genuinely cares about you.  At home I have a dog named Bella. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, skiing, and reading.

Sofia

I am the financial coordinator here at Plaza Orthodontics.  I have a well-rounded clinical background and enjoy working in the dental field, and believe that every smile is unique  and can change the way you feel.  Outside the office I am a proud mother of three beautiful children, and love to run, dance, travel, and spend time with my family.

Susan

As our front desk receptionist, I meet and greet our patients when they first come into our office and check them in and out of their appointments. I love being able to help our patients when they come into our practice, and seeing the transformations our patients undergo with every treatment. I have three children, John, Karen, and Kathy. In my free time I enjoy watching old movies, knitting, and reading.

Ben

I have recently joined the team here at Plaza Orthodontics as a clinical intern/office assistant. I moved to Chicago from Dallas, TX to pursue a career in dentistry.  I received my BS in Biology from Texas Christian University in 2006.  The doctors and staff here at Plaza Orthodontic have created an exceptional patient-focused practice, and I feel very fortunate to have this unique opportunity to nourish and develop my passion in dentistry.  Outside of the office I enjoy all outdoor athletics, watching TCU football, skydiving, cooking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
